We had a brilliant time learning all about Japan for Culture Week.
We gathered facts about Japan’s traditions and culture and presented them in a manga-style comic strip. We were inspired by the work of Hokusai’s The Great Wave and used this to create our own artwork.
We solved Suduko puzzles and created origami shapes. We learnt to say phrases and numbers in Japanese. It was interesting comparing Japan to Wales.
Blwyddyn 5&6 have enjoyed taking part in the BBC Live Lesson as part of World Book day. They successfully completed the challenges learning how to be a low-carbon legend!

In the afternoon, they became the Tour Guides of the museum and showed Blwyddyn 3&4 around as part of Kids in Museums Takeover Day. It was a brilliant day! 🌟
