In Dosbarth Helyg this half term our topic is The Tudors. We have been creating our own Tudor timelines and researching the Battle of Bosworth. Soon we will be learning about Henry VIII and his wives. In our English lessons we’ve been reading a Tudor tale by the author Terry Deary, ‘The Prince, the Cook and the Cunning King’. We’ve written character profiles and diaries. Next week we will be creating our own character to include in our very own Tudor Tale. Dosbarth Helyg are also very excited about our imminent trip to Chirk Castle, to learn more about life during Tudor times.
